Learn about the different settings controlled from the main settings page.

The Settings page is the control center for administrators, providing access to essential tools for managing and customizing the system to meet your organization's needs.

This guide will walk you through the key sections of the Settings page, helping you optimize your system efficiently.

The Settings access is located under the account name in the top right corner of the screen:

Please note that only account admins can access this page.

The Different Settings Sections

The Settings page is divided to different sections, all accessible through the tabs at the top of the page.

General

The following settings are available in the General section:

  • Account name.

  • Account time zone.
    The account time zone setting localizes several of your Labguru tools, including when your scheduled emails send, the timestamp created when starting a new experiment or completing a step, and date and time information for your analytics.
    ​The default setting is GMT.

  • View account attachments storage allocation.

  • Project sharing with external collaborators* - learn more here.

  • Repositories sharing* - learn more here.

  • Draw compounds, please contact Support to enable/disable.

  • Support access*, to allow support team direct access to your account for troubleshooting.

  • Automatically mark stocks as consumed when volume or weight values are zero.

  • Allow HTML files to be added to page.

*Available only for account owner.

After changing the settings, don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page!

Role Management

The role assigned to a member indicates the user's permissions in Labguru modules, what they can and cannot perform or view.

Please note that ELN permissions of specific projects, folders and experiments, are managed via the ELN. More on ELN specific permissions here.

Collections

Select which Inventory collections should appear in your account, and create your own custom collections.

Additionally, you can customize each collection, to contain the relevant information fields.

Data Export

There is also an option to export individual entities like projects or collections separately.

Signature Process

Create custom signature flows that can be applied to different projects, according to your organization's policies.

Personalize

Personalize your account to match your company's branding by adding a logo and selecting the main color scheme.
