1. Q: How can I add or lock a member?

A: Add and lock a member can be done by an admin user. Go to the account's members page that can be found in the drop-down menu under the account's name. See this guide.

2. Q: Can 'read only' users leave comments?

A: Unfortunately no, 'read only' users can only view and not edit.

3. Q: Will MFA requirements affect the LabGuru REST API?

A: No, API requires only a token for authentication

Inventory

3. Q: What is the difference between import items and import stocks?

A: LabGuru offers two types of import templates for populating and updating your inventory. Items (theoretical entity) import and stocks (physical entity) import. Visit this page to better understand the differences.

4. Q: How can I make the barcode fit the label size?

A: As mentioned here, you can set the label template by using the setup and the advanced setup. If needed, contact support for additional help!

5. Q: What printers work with LabGuru label wizard?

A: You can find here a list of printers we tested. However, every printer that supports a PDF output should work!

6. Q: How do I move items between collections?

A: Create an export of all the samples you want to transfer from the original collection and paste them in the designation collection import template. Full explanation can be found here.

7. Q: How can I crop an Image?

A: Click on the image and choose 'Annotation'. Then, click twice one the image, a new symbol on the image frame will appear. Visit this article for more information.

8. Q: How can I lock cells in LabGuru spreadsheet ?

A: Go to "format" -> "protect sheet". Note that protect sheet option can only be enabled from the protocol's page. It locks the entire element from being edited when the user executes the protocol to be an experiment. You can find the detailed information here.

9. Q: How do I change the footers (main header and axis titles) in the new spreadsheet?

A: Double-click on the chart’s axis (x or y) to open the format axis menu. There, you will see the text editor.

10. Q: How can we paste a table from Excel including formulas to Labguru's spreadsheet?

A: Attach the Excel sheet file to the relevant protocol/experiment and then, click on 'Add to page'. After doing so, the file will be presented as part of Labguru page. You can find more information here.

11. Q: How do I delete a project?

A: Projects cannot be deleted, only archived. more information is available here.
