Lets say my company has access. how do I create an account? depends on the company or just using the company email? | If your company has access to Labguru, you need to contact the dedicated person or team in your organization to open an account. If you are not sure who you should contact, let us know at [email protected], and we will be happy to direct you to the right person. |
How can one integrate the flow of information in a dataset to data visualization? Is this part of workflow feature? | Visualizing Dataset's data requires one of Labguru's advanced tools - The Workflow Editor or the Dashboards. With either of these tools, the data can be accessed and analyzed using Python or SQL, and the output visualization posted back to Labguru. |
How does it work with Graphpad Prism? | Graphpad Prism files can be stored in Labguru, and are editable using the Local Edit functionality, which allows working on any file type directly from Labguru. |
Is the system, particularly LIMS functionality, part 11 compliant?
Do you have certificates of compliance for the LIS? | Labguru complies with CFR part 11, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC2 type 2, HIPAA, and more. |
Is the inventory directly tied to the experiments section so that when you do experiments using inventory, your inventory will be lowered? | The Inventory and stored samples are connected to the ELN via the Sample Element. This element allows linking existing Inventory items, creating new items, and updating available amount directly in experiment pages. |
At what task do you think AI will be most beneficial in helping? | We are working on several functions that aim to assist our users in various tasks, for example: experiment page summaries, data conversion from offline files to Labguru pages, Labguru expert Assistant bot, General assistant bot, Data tagging suggestions, AI assisted search, and more. |
Does Labguru implement the ISA88 standard (automation)? | While we have a dedicated Production module, we currently don't implement ISA88. Since this module is still being enhanced and developed, we might have it in the future. |
Is the system able to integrate with other systems outside of Labguru? | Any system that has a REST API can be integrated with Labguru. We have some custom integrations that were made with a variety of other software, one example can be found in this short video. |
Can Labguru import excel or access databases that have current experiments into the notebook? | Importing existing excel lists to Labguru's inventory is pretty straight forward and can be done independently. Importing existing ELN documents such as experiments, depends on the source format and desired outcome in Labguru, but most likely requires our assistance in managing and executing legacy data migration project. |
In the ELN: how easy is it to make modifications to a protocol template during a run? | It's very simple, Once you start an experiment from the protocol (template) all you need to do to modify it, is to enter the desired element and type the correction. Protocols in Labguru are meant to serve as a guideline, and if rigidity is needed - you can always lock the format for any existing experiment created from that protocol. |
How easy is it to make a report of all samples from one batch? For example: if you make a batch of drug and want to do 10 different tests on it. All the samples for the tests have the same batch number associated but has a different code for each test. How easy is it to summarize the results in Labguru? | Collecting and summarizing results in Labguru can be done using several tools, namely with Datasets or Reports, depending on the format of the results. To document different results collected for different samples of the same batch, the approach in Labguru would be to log the batch as an Item and separate Stock for each sample. |
