Setting the project visibility and editing permissions

By default, when a project is created, it is visible to all account members.

To restrict the project visibility and define default editing permission to experiments within:

1. In the Project page, click on More on the top right of the page and select Permissions from the dropdown menu.

2. Select the members or teams who can view the project

3.Select the members or teams who should have editing permissions by default to every new experiment created within the project

4.Press Save.

While viewing permissions are limited to the project level, more granular editing permissions can be defined at the folder level. This is important because editorial permissions may need to shift within different folders and subjects within a single project.

By default, project owner and the system admins will have permissions to view and edit all project content.

After the permissions are set, in the Projects screen, each member will see the projects they own and the ones they have been invited to collaborate on.

Project members can open their own experiments within it and be assigned permissions to edit existing experiments in the project.

Experiments editing permissions can be managed also for individual experiments in a similar manner.
