The Labhandy app now includes a powerful new feature under the Equipment Module that allows users to create, edit, and delete events related to equipment. This functionality is designed to improve equipment tracking, maintenance scheduling, and operational efficiency.
This guide will walk you through how to manage equipment events, ensuring you can easily monitor and update equipment activity.
Creating an Event for Equipment
1. Access the Equipment Module:
From the Labhandy dashboard, navigate to 'Equipment '
2.Select Equipment
Choose the specific piece of equipment for which you wish to create an event.
You can either search for the equipment or select it from the list.
3. Create Event
On the equipment details page, you'll see a calendar icon and a "View Calendar" button.
After opening the calendar, click the plus icon to add a new event.
4. Enter Event Details
A form will appear where you can input the event details, such as:
- Event title (e.g., maintenance, calibration, inspection)
- Description of the event
- Date and Time
- Event capacity (e.g., full-day event)
5. Save Event
Once all details are entered, click 'Save'.
Editing and Deleting an Equipment Event
Clicking on an event within the calendar will show event infromation. Both editing and deleting events can be managed directly from the event page. Event owners and admins have the necessary privileges to make these changes.
