EasyEdit2 is great for automatically uploading documents from your lab instruments and computers to your Labguru account. You can create a folder on your computer and on an instrument's computer, and any files created or moved into this folder will be automatically uploaded to your account.
After installation of EasyEdit2, open the application, you will need to define the connection:
By pressing on 'Open Folder': You are directed to the folder path under EasyEdit 2- main folder that will be synchronized with Labguru.
All files inserted to the folder will be uploaded as unattached images. You can see them in the image or the attachments bank, the link can be found on the dashboard.
Changing folders location can be done easily by dragging and dropping in desired location
Deleting a file that was uploaded with Easyedit2 from the folder will not cause deletion of file/attachment in your account, to delete a file you will need to delete it from unattached images or output files tab at equipment page
By pressing on 'Add Instrument' : You can choose to create and sync a new folder dedicated to a certain instrument available in account. All files in the folder would be uploaded automatically and will appear in the "Output Files" tab at the equipment page. This option is not mandatory and if left blank all the files will be uploaded as unattached images. You can see them in the image or the attachments bank, the link can be found on the dashboard.
When clicking the 'Change Host' button, make sure the domain is your correct Labguru server, the URL of your lab's landing page. If you are not a part of a Private server, default URL is inserted.
